Mr Ang Chye Hock, aged 53, is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Unisem. He was appointed to the Board of Unisem on 28 November 2002 as an Executive Director. He graduated from Salford University, England in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics (Honours).

Mr Ang began his career with Motorola Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur in 1973 as a process engineer.  He subsequently held positions as chief engineer, engineering manager and product manager between 1975 to 1979. Mr Ang was promoted to General Manager of Motorola Semiconductor Sdn Bhd, Seremban at the age of 29 in 1979. He was responsible for starting up a new factory for Motorola in Seremban and was responsible for total factory operations with over 2,000 employees. He held the position for 5 years before leaving for Singapore in December 1984.

Mr Ang brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the electrical and electronic industry. Prior to joining Unisem in 2001, he was in Singapore for 16 years. His experience in Singapore includes being the General Manager of Magnetic Data Technologies Singapore in 2000; Managing Director of Wizard Multimedia, a software retail company, between 1993 and 1999; 6 years with Applied Magnetics Singapore Pte Ltd, where he was the Managing Director before he left in 1993; and 2 years at managerial positions with Motorola Electronics Pte Ltd.

Mr Colin Garfield MacDonald, aged 62, who was appointed to the Board of Unisem on 18 July 1991, is one of the founder members of Unisem. He holds a Certified General Accounting degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
Before his retirement in end September 2000, Mr Colin Garfield MacDonald was the President/Chief Executive Officer of Unisem.

 He began his career in 1958 as an Accountant with a Canadian Bank and has held several positions within the Bank from 1958 to 1965. From 1965 to 1974, he held several accounting positions in various manufacturing companies.

In 1974, he joined North American Philips, a company principally involved in the manufacturing of electronic and electrical products, as Financial Controller for the audio video division. In 1976, he was appointed as Financial Controller in Signetics Corporation, a subsidiary of North American Philips, principally involved in the manufacturing of electronic and electrical products. From 1986 to 1991, he was appointed managing director of a Malaysian company which is principally involved in the manufacture of semiconductor devices

Mr Tee Yee Loh, aged 49, was appointed to the Board of Unisem on 13 June 1991. He is one of the founder members of Unisem. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Federal Institute of Technology, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Mr Tee Yee Loh carries with him more than 16 years of experience in the contamination control technology which includes the design and building of clean room facilities, process integration and facilitisation of microelectronic manufacturing factories. He also sits on the board of several private limited companies.

Mr. Heng Huck Lee, aged 54, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Executive Director of GTB. He was appointed to the Board of GTB on 10 November 1997. He was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of GTB in July 1997 and later promoted as Chief Executive Officer in January 2008. 

He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) majoring in Computer/Electronic Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1982. He also obtained a Master in Business Administration from East Asia University in 1991. His past working experience includes a 10-year operations/management position with Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, currently the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer. He also has more than 5 years working experience as a Group General Manager with Shinca Sdn Bhd, an Original Equipment Manufacturer/subcontract manufacturer for a wide range of electronics and computer products from 1991 to 1997.

Mr. Heng is a member of the MIDA Electronics and Electrical Advisory Panel. He attended all 5 Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2010.

Mr. Michael Ng Kweng Chong, aged 63, a Malaysian, is a Non-Independent Executive Director of Globetronics Technology Bhd (“GTB”). He was appointed to the Board of GTB on 5 August 1997. Mr. Michael Ng is currently the Founder and Executive Chairman of GTB. He was the original founder of Globetronics Sdn Bhd (GSB) in 1991. Y.BHG. DATO' LIM KANG HOO, aged 55, Malaysian, is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Ekovest Berhad and has been on the Board of Directors of Ekovest Berhad since 30 March 1988. Y.Bhg. Dato' Lim is a businessman with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He started his involvement in the construction industry soon after completing his secondary education, assisting the family construction business. Later he teamed up with Mr. Khoo Nang Seng @ Khoo Nam Seng to form a civil engineering and construction partnership which grew to become what Ekovest Berhad is today.
